- Streetter19 October 2025Richard Donner was the original director of this movie. Original script was supposed to be about Peter Pan & The Lost Boys being vampires that never aged. Such a great concept on a fairytale. Unfortunately Donner left production to direct Lethal Weapon. Joel Schumacher took over and needed to change the movie by a certain percentage to be listed as the director, enter the comical Frogger Brothers and name changes; Peter became David, Hook became Max. I have always wondered how much better this movie would have been if Donner got to finish this film.
