The Lost Boys Ratings & Reviews
- GeneralGreene8h agoUltimately this has been my favorite vampire movie since I had first watched it in 1989. Part of this is how they chose to design the vampires. The fangs, the eyes, skin. How they come to look more monster than human. It is one of the scariest visual depictions of vampires in film. Up there with "Let Me In" (2010). The Lost Boys is a peak representaion of late 80's horror and cinema.
- Daniel GustavssonOctober 12, 2024Very cool and very 80s movie. It has that special feel to it. I like it a lot.
- TheGozerian5d agoClassic 80s... Just good times, fun and funny, kinda surreal, and cool as cool can be
- NonPlayableContentJuly 4, 2025I came for the queer tension but wasn't ready for the cringe. Iconic film worth watching and rewatching every few years.

- StreetterOctober 19, 2025Richard Donner was the original director of this movie. Original script was supposed to be about Peter Pan & The Lost Boys being vampires that never aged. Such a great concept on a fairytale. Unfortunately Donner left production to direct Lethal Weapon. Joel Schumacher took over and needed to change the movie by a certain percentage to be listed as the director, enter the comical Frogger Brothers and name changes; Peter became David, Hook became Max. I have always wondered how much better this movie would have been if Donner got to finish this film.
- Josh PekarOctober 18, 2025Classic 80s movie, memorable soundtrack, a definitive halloween watch.
- mickerdooAugust 23, 2025All the cliche 80s movie staples packed into an entertaining comedy/horror. The Corey's are iconic. Amount of spook was spot on.
- tellumSeptember 6, 2025Strong contender for the best vampire movie. Great special effects and horror for the time, perfect esthetic and setting, Teen Angst, and a saxophone solo that has become its own legend.
- RavlorJune 28, 2025Loved this movie growing up. It has that 80s sheen to it we all love. Rewatched it a while back and it hasn't aged like a vampire. It has major flaws I never saw as a kid. But I still like it.
- M08YJuly 20, 2025Kind of like the goonies but with vampires. It's a silly comedy horror movie that takes absolutely no brain power to watch. This film as Joel Schumacher OOZING out of it but where it didnt work in Batman, it very much works here. The 4K bluray looks and sounds perfectly fine. Probably not one I will revisit.
- SpanktacularJune 19, 2025First time seeing this in 2025 and yeah, I get it. Pretty damn good! I could see how this became a cult classic.
