- RichardJanuary 4, 2026Picked this one up first, a total impulse buy from the bargain DVD bin and honestly expected nothing more than a cheap adventure knock off. Instead, it turned out to be surprisingly charming. It’s goofy, low budget and absolutely knows it, but that’s part of the fun. Noah Wyle leans into the awkward hero vibe, the plot is delightfully pulpy and it scratches that “TV‑movie Indiana Jones” itch better than it has any right to. This was the one that hooked me enough to go back and grab the other two parts of the trilogy. A fun, lightweight adventure that punches above its bargain bin price tag.
