The Lego Movie Ratings & Reviews
- Emmanuel BlanchetteJuly 7, 2025Kids loved it. They say 5 stars
- mickerdooJuly 7, 2025Fun, inventive and a nice lesson. Just lacked that last umph in "it factor". Great voice cast and springboard for more.
- Jamie TalbotJuly 7, 2025“EVERYTHING IS AWSOME…” - this alone just sums up the film so well. The scene at the start of the film during ‘Everything is Awesome’ was so satisfying to watch. There was just so much going on that I feel like I could watch it back and back and yet still find something in the background that I hadn’t seen originally. The fact literally every single animated bit of this movie is made of LEGO is nothing short of incredible. Watching the explosions, bullets being shot from guns and the flames all being LEGO just brings it all together so well. You have to constantly be paying attention to any scene with President Business in as there always seems to be something going on in the background which can give you some laughs. Talking about laughs, I laughed so much more than I totally expected. This is one of the few films targeted towards children which is actually enjoyable to watch for all ages. By far my favourite quote is from Batman - “I only work in black… or sometimes very very dark grey”
- Eldon McGuinnessApril 9, 2025Such a great movie and so much fun to watch with the kids! It was so much fun to see all the different characters that LEGO made into pieces over the years come to life in a way that most of us dreamed of as children. The animation in the movie is just amazing and the level of detail afforded to the environment is just unbelievable. Another significant aspect of the movie is how they merged both the LEGO world and the real world in a way that was not just fun but heartwarming. This will earn a place in a kid's frequently played list!
