The Last Samurai Ratings & Reviews
- ColeApril 27, 2025Heroic and heartfelt. Epic and emotional. Sprawling and satisfying. Tom Cruise and Watanabe save me.
- samse14March 14, 2025The Last Samurai is a brilliantly crafted aesthetic pleasure, studded with supernal performances from Ken Watanabe and Tom Cruise. No matter how many time I watch this movie, I can never get tired of it.
- RyezooFebruary 15, 2025Samurai Tom Cruise. The movie is epic in scope, pretty to look at, and a great score, but that didn't stop me from being Slightly disappointed. I love Cruise, but was checking my watch several times during this movie. It just meanders around a good bit. The action when happening is exciting. I just felt like the potential for greatness was missed by a few inches. Maybe years from now a rewatch will help me enjoy more.
