- Kevin Ward4. prosince 2025The started off pretty well and had an interesting premise and had a cool poster. But about midway through the film the lead, John Cassavettes becomes very (unintentionally, I think) creepy. He’s confesses to his teenage daughter that he began seeing an 18 y/o after splitting with her mother, then proceeded to kiss his own daughter with way more passion than I would have expected, on multiple occasions. He does this while being the medical investigator of a serial r*pist and murderer, hooking up with the investigative reporter. He would often caress or put his hands on a patient in ways that would cross comfort boundaries…I was actually convinced he was going to turn out to be the r*pist. Haha. Near the end suggests to sort of use a young woman as bait because he was sure “There’s going to be r*pe tonight!” As if he was insisting it needed to happen. Nope, not the r*pist though. He is the good guy, for sure. There was one pretty cool kill where a head gets partially taken out by a shovel, and a foot subsequently blown off with a shot gun. Had potential, but ultimately kind of a let down.
- robertreagan15515. prosince 2025I watch this movie when it first come out and it scared me to death I was just a young boy my brother and my older brother took me to the theater to see it they were living in Nashville now I live in Georgia not much but we scare me anymore the last real movie it scared me was first power so this ranks up there with it though
