The Girl Next Door
Directed by Gregory Wilson- Nicholas FlorioMarch 23, 2026The sad thing is there are people all over this world who commit these atrocious actions everyday. This isn't the best produced piece of cinema but the subject matter alone is so abhorrent and disturbing that you will be curious enough watch it once, and sickening enough to wish you hadn't.
- DarlingInThePlexxJune 3, 2025‼️ NOT the Emile Hirsch movie ‼️ If you’re here looking for teen hijinks and coming-of-age crushes, please turn around and go call your therapist, because this ain’t that. This is the kind of film that kicks you in the soul and leaves you sitting in stunned silence questioning humanity itself 😵💫. Based on a horrific true story and set in the 1950s, it’s like a morality gut punch wrapped in vintage aesthetics and simmering dread. You’ll watch half of it through your fingers and the other half asking, “Why are people like this? WHO LET THEM COOK??” 🍳💀 It’s disturbing. Unflinching. Brutal. But also—hauntingly effective. If you can stomach the cruelty, there’s a powerful story buried in the horror. Just… maybe don’t watch it alone. Or ever again. 🫠
