The Ghost and the Darkness

Sir Robert Beaumont is behind schedule on a railroad in Africa. Enlisting noted engineer John Henry Patterson to right the ship, Beaumont expects results. Everything seems great until the crew discovers the mutilated corpse of the project's foreman, seemingly killed by a lion. After several more attacks, Patterson calls in famed hunter Charles Remington, who has finally met his match in the bloodthirsty lions.

Ford26. desember 2024One of my all time favorite films of its time period.....hands down......Superb in every aspect.....and to just end this on a high note.....THE LIONS GO DUMB HARD !!!!....If you're into when animals attack....you love a great story and you want to feel like you're right there as things are happening....this is the film.for you ...trust me.....The animal action in this movie is crazy work.....they out shine everyone.....One things get going....I promise you...you won't move....

- Zokkiie24. mars 2026Second time watching this—I saw it last year with zero expectations. It still hits in all the right ways: tense, gritty, and confident without trying too hard. Some scenes drag a bit, but the atmosphere keeps you hooked. And yeah… Val Kilmer’s Irish accent is hilariously bad—distracting at first, but you kind of end up enjoying it as part of the chaos. Overall, it’s a surprisingly fun watch that sticks with you longer than you think.
