It shows clearly the possibilities of color in cartoon work, for some of the effects used would be a complete flop in black and white. For instance where the little boy paints a barber pole and where the white elephant changes color after drinking the red circus lemonade. Not only is the color here attractive but it would seem to open a new field in cartoon work.
