Based on a true story of the Polish submarine ORP Orzel (Eagle). In September 1939, Orzel docks in the neutral Estonian harbor of Tallin. Under pressure from Germany, the Estonians have interned the boat. With only a small amount of fuel on board and his charts having been confiscated, Commander Grabinski decides to escape to England through the Baltic Sea.
