Dingeon of Harrow. 88 minutes. Color. 1964. . Continual and non-stop soundtrack, taken from public domain. And it really fit wifhout being a distraction. . Helen Morgan played Cassandra and Michelle Buquor played Anne. This movie was their one and only movie in their entire lives. . The acting was underplayed (a good thing) except for tne Count who verged on histrionics. In my opinion, the evil spirit at the start of the movie was corny and completely unnecessary, verging on being irritating. . The art direction was good. Set design was interesting. All in all, the production and execution was most satisfactory. . The story raises questions of right and wrong, life and death, loyalty and betrayal. This is nuanced and a bit thought provoking. . Would I see this movie again? Mmm. Maybe. Review by Charles Ynfante.
