- Doc WormJanuary 17, 2026Lean, mean and only a bit disjointed. The drop is a crime drama that intersects the lives of a few Brooklynites around a brooding Tom Hardy. An excellent script and phenomenal sound design keep The Drop moving along. This combined with solid performances from the last great James Gandolfini and company make The Drop a great ride.
