Meryl Streep gives a legendary, ice-cold performance as Miranda Priestly, perfectly complemented by Anne Hathaway's relatable journey as Andy Sachs. Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci are comedic gold in their supporting roles, making the entire cast a delight to watch. Beyond the stunning fashion, the movie is a smart, witty, and surprisingly heartfelt story about ambition and finding out what truly matters. It's an absolute classic.
- Kevin Ward2025年7月2日Streep, Hathaway and Blunt are icons and the film holds up largely because of their performances. Has a pretty killer soundtrack also including a Ray Lamontagne tune. Unexpected, but I’ll gladly take it. I also wasn’t sufficiently prepared for Blunt’s eye shadow.
- Jamie Talbot2025年7月1日Thought it was a really good movie, probably something I wouldn’t have usually watched. The film goes to show how shitty work life can be whilst struggling to create a work/life balance. Every person shown in this movie is well thought out and written and gives you lots of different perspectives on how if you start choosing work over your friends, just how they are also affected by your lack of presence. As I was writing this, I have found out that they’re releasing a sequel. Will be looking forward to this lots!
