Idiot lawyers and this girl is in Prison. I always feel like I should be a better parent, until I see these idiot parents that have no business raising children.

This was a really great documentary, the police body cam footage has become one of my favorite media sources for these and it was very telling.

I will never get parents who believe their kids no matter what their kids do is crazy to me. In my opinion Mackenzie’s parents we’re definitely bad influence on like letting her get away with many things, letting her do stuff while also doing it. This all leads to her believing that no matter what she does she’ll have people on her side like she’s above everyone and is entitled. personally I feel like she’s only doing any of this documentary for the way she wants to be perceived by the world. Her parents definitely do NOT have remorse or respect for Dominic Russo and Davion Flanagan and their family. Like wearing that shirt was so disrespectful towards both families and calling Davion only as “a new friend” is so bullshit like the way she spoke overall was non remorseful. Her parents I believe should also be held accountable letting her drive while apparently having ‘POTS’ if I was a parent I would NOT let my kid drive not even for the slightest chance of it. I wouldn’t want my kid and OTHERS at risk. Overall I think 15yrs is not enough but at least she was legally held accountable. Though the way people describe her in prison I’m in doubt. People like her should get life accident or not a life is a life she took TWO, plus her friends were so oblivious to what they were saying line “oh Mackenzie wouldn’t do that oh Mackenzie loves him and would never” this is a whole lot of shit. I’m so glad Dom and Davion had friends who came forward with evidence to show the relationship was not healthy. I could keep on going but this is getting to long. RIP to Dominic Russo + Davion Flanagan❤️‍🩹🕊️ i pray for their families and what they’ve been going through. I love them for calling out Mackenzie and her parents bullshit.

I will never understand how there is a free Kenzie movement. It is so evident that she did this on purpose. I feel so bad for the families. I also have POTS and know that this would not have caused a crash like this. It’s so frustrating. And for someone to say “she’s too pretty for prison”……. Excuse me?!

Still can’t tell if she did it, but going on interview here was NOT her best idea. This is a good doco for the crime girlies out there, although it doesn’t really give solid ideas on if it was on purpose or not.

Interesting! I actually didn’t like her. I think she knew she was driving way too fast and i feel she could have made a point to brake!! I think it was intentional, she didn’t try to break! LThat’s what’s soooo heartbreaking. Did she not even think of Davion in the back seat 🥺 . Did she think of those young men’s families? 🥺

She should be in jail forever.

she showed no remorse at all. all the evidence shows she did it. it was foot on the pedal and the swerving was done by the boys.

When both the Father and Mother of this teenager with no shame stated very confidently, the reason they allowed her to move in with her boyfriend at 17 was because they thought she was so mature and she could handle it. That’s all I needed to hear to know she had no guidance or help or proper preparation for life. Of course this is how it ended. It would have ended badly even without the violence then no one would have known. It happens all the time and people can’t believe it. This is what happens on varying levels of damage when parents don’t think their child needs them to guide them. Life doesn’t come natural or easy to anyone people. Fortunately not everybody is prone to violence, but when they are, this is what happens.

The Crash is a fascinating documentary because it gives voice to nearly everyone involved in the tragedy, including the young woman at its centre. Once the emotional noise of loyal friends and defensive parents is stripped away, a portrait of Mackenzie Shirilla begins to emerge: demanding, dismissive, entitled, and vindictive.

Was ok, not sure what the hype was about

Just watched The Chase on Netflix and honestly, it’s a perfect example of how 'cool' drug culture has become in West for rich, entitled Gen Z kids. But the worst part? The parents. McKenzie’s dad literally says in an interview that they allowed drugs because it wasn't a big deal! It feels like Netflix is losing its touch lately, making whole documentary series out of minor, everyday cases just for content. Missing classic crime documentaries by Netflix which they known for.
