The Commitments Ratings & Reviews
- sixx84October 9, 2025Love it. For me one of the best films ever.
- 3oogieAugust 19, 2025One of the best films ever. i've seen it so many times throughout my life that i pretty much know the dialogue verbatim. There are so many great performances, but the music is where this shines, and qualifies as a modern masterpiece.. So many of the scenes have become iconic (and part of my 'culture'), but standout moments include the lad with the horse in the lift ("the stairs would kill him!"), and my personal favourite: "Lads, you're looking at the Commitment-ettes!"..... "The Commitment-tits you mean!" Just beautiful.
- Mister ArnMay 15, 2025"The Commitments" delivers solid music with captivating storytelling that feels natural. It's an uplifting and engaging tale about dreams and perseverance driven by the power of music.
