Body swapping madness like something you'd see in X-Files; flirting with the right amount of comedy makes The Borrower a fun watch. John McNaughton isn't near as moody this time around after Henry: Portrait of A Serial Killer. Hilariously The Borrower throws in some Henry easter eggs a couple of times. There's a tinge of darker comedy from the alien as he's decapitating victims and eating on their bodies. Great goopy blood effects and colorful personalities among the characters. The Borrower is a jam.
