The Blob Ratings & Reviews
- ZokkiieJanuary 26, 2026This is just a really good time. It’s fast, gross in the best way, and packed with practical effects that still look fantastic decades later. The creature feels genuinely dangerous, the kills are bold and sometimes shocking, and the movie keeps things moving without dragging. The story is simple and the characters are pretty basic, but the energy and craftsmanship make up for it. It’s not a classic, but it’s a strong, super entertaining piece of 80s horror that’s aged way better than most.

- Richard ThorntonJuly 22, 2025Way more fun than I thought it was gonna be. Great effects. Cheesy in the right places and went harder than I thought it was going to. Big recommend for all horror fans. Wild seeing Del Close show up.
