The Accidental Tourist Ratings & Reviews
- Cinema 470February 18, 2026For me there's something comforting about an 80's film. It's like having a good dream. All your old friends are young again, the technology is quaint and unthreatening, and the stories unfold calmly, with longer takes, less clutter, more acting. This goes a long way to explaining what I liked about The Accidental Tourist. It is a quiet, odd film, and all the characters, including the dog, have some hard-to-overlook flaws. But I enjoyed the ride, and the ending supplies a good dose of self-discovery and hope.
