Terrifier 3 Ratings & Reviews
- TV watcherDecember 28, 2025Another great Terrifier movie by Damien Leone. Top notch gore as always.
- jackmeatNovember 3, 2024My quick rating - 7.1/10 This third installment takes Art the Clown's blood-soaked chaos to a chilling new setting, proving that the horrors of Halloween can spill right into the holiday season. Five years after surviving Art's Halloween massacre, Sienna (Lauren LaVera) and Jonathan (Elliott Fullam) are still haunted by their experiences, clinging to the hope that they can rebuild. But Christmas is no refuge from Art’s relentless violence, and soon, festive cheer transforms into a brutal nightmare. And he isn't alone as Lily has tagged along to help deliver the gruesome fate to seemingly anyone within range. Damien Leone dives fearlessly into holiday horror, delivering scenes packed with carnage and crafted with a grim, unhinged creativity. The gore here is intense, even by Terrifier standards. The practical effects are as gruesome and inventive as ever, with sequences like a deranged dinner scene (reminiscent of An American Werewolf in London) that combine horror with disturbing humor. There’s an artistry to the madness, with the cinematography and effects team working together to create shockingly detailed scenes that are both disturbing and memorable. Leone shows a willingness to push the envelope, ensuring that every scene is a disturbing masterpiece of bloodshed. This time, however, there's an added layer of story to balance the mayhem. The plot doesn't exactly reinvent the wheel, but it explores the trauma Sienna and Jonathan face as they try to move on. Leone has infused just enough story to give us stakes, making Art’s return that much more dreadful. While some of the plot elements are indeed hokey, they add to the charm, capturing the campy spirit of classic holiday horror. Ultimately, Terrifier 3 is unapologetically brutal and doesn’t shy away from shocking its audience. It’s clear Leone and Art the Clown are both here to stay, and Art (David Howard Thornton) has earned his place among modern horror icons. For those who can handle its unrelenting violence, this film is a holiday horror gift. But fair warning: this one's not for the squeamish.
- Y0URmessiahDecember 25, 2025Not for the faint of heart, vegans, or anyone planning a wholesome family Christmas viewing. But if you want to ruin the holidays forever in the best way possible, grab some friends, turn off the lights, and let Art stuff your stocking with terror.
- FranBizNovember 27, 2025A great sequel in the Terrifier franchise. If you're a fan of the first 2 films, you'll probably will like this movie.
- YabberOctober 10, 2025Fucking hate that shit, imma now jerk off.
- makdelartNovember 27, 2025The plot is weaker than in the second instalment, but who cares? Will there be a number 4?
- Hope EmmanuelNovember 13, 2025The whole movie I was like WTF. 😭🤣💀🙆🏾♂️
- DevanJanuary 26, 2025Peak cinema
- Drake707October 14, 2025It's a fun holiday movie.
- stuhannafordOctober 13, 2025It’s lost it’s a way more than a little. Where the first was low budget, with a cool B-movie leaning, and the second saw a budget jump towards a cinematic horror with a cult status, this one just doesn’t really know where to place itself and ends up being little more than a well funded collection of physical special effects to shock, rather than focus on any kind of story… all the more odd when considering the runtime at over two hours. The film time jumps to indicate that someone had at least thought about incorporating a story at some point, but obviously had more fun playing with the blood machine. Certainly not a regular horror, and way past cool to be considered an homage to B… odd, and not all that entertaining. More clowning around than Art.
- cultfilmlikerFebruary 26, 2025Gotta say, it’s rare to see a film series get better with every sequel, but it helps when you start at the bottom! (Note: I typed that before the third act, which brought this film below Terrifier 2 imo) Clearly inspired violently by Tobe Hooper, and especially, Rob Zombie, from the casting to the 31 / The Devil’s Rejects feel at points. Still written, shot, and acted like a Hallmark porno tho. It’s hilarious that I’m “complaining” about this but it feels like they haphazardly decided to throw the backstory and therefore an actual plot into it just for shits and gigs. And a shitty story at that. Who would have guessed??
- mradamlaurieSeptember 21, 2025This installment was pretty confusing.
- drthompsontvSeptember 16, 2025This movie is a great time. The story doesn’t really hold up as well as the second movie, but it does pick up in the final act. That being said, people watch this for the blood and gore. And oh boy I think this is the best gore and has the best kills in the franchise imo. Go watch it.
