- synthete30 marzo 2026Lots of ridiculous action fun with a decent score and music. Over the top with a great cast and a script that never stops the one-liners. Not all of them land, but enough do, and Stallone and especially Russel make it good-natured fun despite some some rather grimy and harrowing scenes. Teri Hatcher is gorgeous, and a delight every moment she's on screen. It's copraganda, but it's been forty years and it can't be taken seriously.

Stallone gets to do a great turn as Brainy Stallone, Russell gets to do a great turn as sexy Russell (never quite sure why the ladies didn't go nuts for him), and Teri Hatcher throws in an early appearance in a very different role. You've got the normal cast of bad guys along for this brilliant over the top 80s actioner. Alongside them Faltmeyer throws in a more 80s than 80s OST.
