- Matthias_812April 2, 2025The action sequences are wildly creative, featuring fluid, acrobatic combat that seamlessly blends hard hitting strikes with balletic grace. The transition from Shaolin-style kung fu to the more flowing, deceptive movements of Tai Chi is natural, making the fights not just exciting but narratively meaningful. Tai-Chi Master does have a playful tone a bit more than I care for. The humor undercuts the drama. Even this can't take away from the exhilarating fight sequences such as that pole fighting one.
