Three villains murder the parents of a young boy as they prepare for their family's favourite god's festival. The Boy prays to the god and is granted the same powers as Superman. Two decades on he begins using these powers to save lives, defeat villains, and seek his parent's murderers. In his everyday life he must navigate the waters of romance, family tensions in a liberated society, and his career in the mining industry.
