Where to Watch Sting
- Daniel SchmidNovember 1, 2025Sting is a very good time. It's a more personal horror story where the characters and their stories play very well together with the horror they're facing. I wish the creature was a little bit more creative since it's supposed to be an extraterrestrial lifeform (this is shown in the intro so it's not a spoiler in my books) but it's fine, it's always a pleasure to see what the little guy is up to next. The fear of the unknown is a huge part in every horror piece, but it's pretty much thrown out of the window in this one, so I never really felt like I'm watching a super serious morale-questioning masterpiece, and that's perfectly fine. It is a great time. The quality of sound and VFX is great, but since I'm a sucker for creatures and this one is kinda lacking I gotta give it a 4. But still: watch this movie!
