- Eric Widder5. července 2025Solid 80s flick. They don't make movies like this anymore. It's also a true story. Edward James Olmos (Battlestar Galactica/Miami Vice) offers is greatest performance. Where Dead Poet's Society entails sheltered and ill confident boys unwilling to believe in themselves and take risks, Stand and Deliver achieves the same with underprivileged hispanic kids attempting to pass AP Calculus during high school. Everyone loves a good underdog story, and this is one of them. Would watch again.
