- Dustin Graves16. září 2026I was fascinated with this film as a kid who frequented Blockbuster every weekend to pick out a movie and a video game to rent. I picked this one weekend when I was about 9 years old, and as soon as the dancers started shaking their bare boobs in the beginning at the strip club, my mom refused to let me finish it. After that I'd always walk by the VHS box, staring and wondering. Now 33 years later, after finally watching the entire film—I'm a bit disappointed. Rutger Hauer is fantastic and the concept, costumes, and effects are all pretty good. The sets, vehicles, and creature design all leave much to be desired unfortunately. The villain just looks like a rejected draft for the xenomorph in Alien. Not to mention the poorly paced, boring second act. It didn't quite live up to my childhood hype, but I still had fun with it.

He soon discovers what he is hunting might not be human. Still not bad after all these years. Kind of a "Predator" type flick for lack of a whole synopsis. Big evil alien being hunted by the psycho cop below.

Roku 2008 je vlivem globálního oteplování Londýn zatopen a skleníkový efekt změnil den v takřka nekonečnou noc. V takto ponurém prostředí se ovšem objevuje ještě jeden problém: záhadný zabiják, který vraždí s nevídanou bestialitou - vytrhává lidem srdce. Případ vyšetřuje detektiv Harley Stone, drsný policista, jehož metody často dohání jeho nadřízené k šílenství. Proto je mu nedobrovolně přidělen parťák slušňák Dick Durkin, pro kterého jsou naopak předpisy svaté. Vzájemné neshody budou muset ovšem odložit, protože rozhodující střet s bestií se nezadržitelně blíží.
