South Park: Post COVID (2021) was enjoyable but not great. Loved seeing the boys as men, of course Cartman became a Jew and that's the funniest part. It was better than most of the recent South Park episodes and South Park is my favourite TV Show but it just feels as if they are trying too hard now instead of focusing on the jokes they are trying to be meta and do things they have never done before. I'm very much over the storylines that drag on in the series. We need more silliness, more ridiculousness and each episode/film should be unique; that is what made South Park great!

I just watched South Park Post COVID and I give it 5 out of 5 stars. This special took me by surprise with how funny, creative, emotional, and weirdly heartfelt it is. South Park has always pushed the limits, but this one feels different in a good way. It mixes the classic humor with a deeper story about friendship, growing up, and how much life can change without us even noticing. Right from the start, it pulls you in because it feels bigger than a normal episode. It has a story that stretches into the future and shows how the characters have changed, and even though it is full of jokes, the emotional moments really hit. The cast brings so much personality to this special. Seeing the characters as adults is both funny and sad at the same time. They still talk and act like the kids we know, but life has taken them in different directions. That gives the story a mix of humor and heart that works really well. Stan and Kyle still feel like the emotional core of the show, and watching them reconnect brings out a lot of feeling. Their friendship has always been one of the strongest parts of South Park, and this special reminds you why. Cartman is also amazing in this. His story line is wild and unpredictable, which is exactly what makes him so fun to watch. He brings chaos like always, but he also brings some surprising emotional depth that you do not expect until you see it. The humor is exactly what you expect from South Park, but the tone feels more mature. The jokes land because they come from real experiences people went through during the pandemic. It takes the things everyone felt, the stress and confusion and frustration, and turns them into something funny without ignoring the seriousness behind it. The special uses humor to show how people change after big events and how the world shifts in ways we do not always understand. It blends ridiculous moments with relatable ones, which gives the story a lot of personality. The emotional part of the special took me off guard. South Park is known for being outrageous, but this time they gave the story more weight. There are scenes that make you think about friendship, memories, and what it means to move on. The way the characters confront their past and try to fix their mistakes makes the special feel bigger than just a comedy. It becomes a story about healing and reconnecting, and that made the whole experience feel meaningful. It shows how people drift apart and how hard it can be to reconnect, but it also shows the hope that comes from trying. The animation and production feel more polished than older episodes. The future setting lets the creators have fun with designs, technology, and creative details. The world feels familiar but different enough to keep things exciting. The pacing is great as well. It keeps the story moving without rushing emotional moments or jokes. By the time it ended, I felt like I had watched something special. South Park Post COVID is funny, emotional, smart, and full of heart in a way that surprised me. It respects the history of the characters while giving them a new direction. It reminded me why the show has lasted so long and why these characters still matter. It completely earned its perfect rating from me.
