Sojourns is a 4K non-narrative film produced and photographed by Mark Andersen. It chronicles his travels throughout Europe, the South Pacific and North America, photographing various landscapes, urban-scapes and details found along the way. The images are always found and never 'set up' or scripted. The crew is usually only 2-3 people and sometimes just Mark alone. Using Red 4K and 5K cameras and traveling very light and fast, the film briefly covers a variety of locations, often visited for just a short time. Each location represents a short 'sojourn' by the filmmaker, hence the name. This film is intended to show case the beautiful and immersive images that only Ultra High Definition 4K can deliver.
