Crystal Bernard, after becoming the southern cousin who came to live with Cunningham’s on Happy Days, she went on to the Anne Jillian led It’s A Living and then the underrated sitcom Wings. She never had much of a movie career. That could be because she didn’t like this film. She was a born again Christian and objected to much of the content. Somehow that fact just helps define her character and make the movie that much better. The driller killer and his special drill equipped guitar go after unsuspecting high school band mates when the spend the night in a condo without parental supervision. I’m gonna say this movie is one of those rare sequels that is better than the original. It takes the concept and moves it into the absurd, with musical numbers and dream sequences and ridiculous dialogue and really catchy but poorly made songs. I love everything about this movie more than the other sequel the director made - Rock and Roll High School Forever, where they trade the Ramones for Corey Feldman.
