Silent Hill: Revelation Ratings & Reviews
- DigitalDisappointmentApril 6, 2025This was a hell of a lot better than the first Silent Hill. they had more of a story that made sense, the characters weren't as dumb and predictable, and overall it was a lot more interesting. Usually sequels fail on all fronts when compared to the original.
- HydroCanuckMarch 4, 2026First one was a lot better
- AlexFebruary 20, 2026Straight peak
- AaronFebruary 15, 2026Roast Review – Silent Hill: Revelation 🔥 This movie feels like a horror puzzle where someone lost half the pieces. The fog understands the plot more than the audience. Pyramid Head looks terrifying, but even he seems confused about why he’s there. Verdict: Creepy vibes ✔️ Clear story ❌ Brain = slightly scrambled ✔️ 😄
- Danny DelloBuonoFebruary 12, 2026This movie had the storyline from the original all messed up and it was boring, very disappointing if you enjoyed the game or first Silent Hill movie.
- Katreina EdelweissFebruary 8, 2026Hey you remember Silent Hill 2??!?
- Daniel TaylorJanuary 16, 2026A solid follow up that earns three stars. The cast is great and full of actors I usually love seeing in movies, which definitely helps carry it. It doesn’t quite hit the same highs as the first film, but it still keeps the Silent Hill atmosphere and expands the story enough to stay interesting. Kit Harington makes me giggle a little in this one, but honestly it just adds to the charm. Not perfect, but an enjoyable watch if you’re already invested in the Silent Hill world.
- Daniel SchmidDecember 29, 2025This is a direct sequel to the first movie, so make sure to watch that first. They did another great job with this one. It further develops the story of the main antagonist of the first movie. However I feel the screenplay is a bit weaker this time around. Don't get me wrong, it is still phenomenal and brings back a lot of what I liked about the first movie, but the sense of sheer wonder is not quite there. Some scenes are quite short lived and don't feel like they bring much to the story, when I wished they did. Nonetheless, it is a great piece of art. The visual effects feel a bit weaker as well as the sound and music, just because it didn't trap me quite as well. But in the end I must recommend this movie, if you liked the first one.
- HakihikoDecember 26, 2025Good Atmosphere With Poor Direction "Silent Hill: Revelation" tries to continue the eerie, unsettling tone of its predecessor, but ends up feeling far less focused and effective. While there are moments that capture flashes of the franchise's signature atmosphere, the overall execution is uneven. Visually, the film has some interesting ideas, and a few creature designs stand out. However, the direction lacks cohesion, and the reliance on exposition-heavy storytelling weakens the sense of mystery. The pacing feels rushed, and emotional beats rarely land with the impact they aim for. "Silent Hill: Revelation" isn't completely devoid of merit, but it lacks the identity and confidence needed to stand on its own. It's a serviceable sequel with occasional highlights, ultimately falling short of the unsettling experience it wants to deliver.
- faizannabiOctober 17, 2024A good sequel not like other zombi repeated movies or phsychopatehic killng story.
