- Hipster ZOMBIE4天前Every year we seem to get at least 3 to 4 shark movies that range from great to the drizzling shits. You have your “Godfather” of shark films “Jaws” and then you have your hidden gems like “Beast of War” or “Dangerous Animals.” Then you have Netflix’s latest film: Thrash. Thrash is the kind of movie that takes a ridiculous idea and runs full speed with it. A Right into a wall of stupid. A massive hurricane floods a town with sharks, and just to make things worse, a punctured meat truck dumps blood into the streets, triggering a full-on feeding frenzy. It’s chaos by design. The problem is the characters are even harder to deal with than the sharks. A pregnant woman wandering into danger, a clueless redneck couple neglecting their foster kids, and a stubborn biologist’s daughter who refuses to evacuate all make baffling decisions that quickly wear thin. There are some impressively gory moments that deliver on the creature-feature promise, but the plot is paper thin and the nonstop bad choices make it more frustrating than fun. You might come for the sharks, but you’ll stay annoyed by the humans.

- SirMonkalot6天前Enjoyable and entertaining but very much predictable and exactly what I expected it to be. Not the best shark movie, but definitely not the worst. If the hurricane doesn’t getcha, the sharks will! 🦈

- sidiousplex4天前Movie was ok. Nothing special. It's unfortunate that these writers and producers feel the overwhelming need to throw their environmental politics into every single thing they do. Hurricanes and storms are cyclical. They are going to happe whether you drive your V8 or not. Just work on the plots for your movies instead. Then we could rate them higher.
- light fashion5天前It's true that it's not the most original movie in the world and that it demonizes sharks, but all things considered, I thought it was good and I enjoyed it.
- carter28825天前Thrash is a bad shark movie. The film is entirely watchable. The cgi for the sharks look pretty good and the kills are pretty gory as well. Everything else is just not good. The film is very rushed. The characters are poorly written and the film spends no time with character development. The film takes itself way to seriously so no fun can be had. Overall it’s a really bad film that I do not recommend.

- tachioma5天前Pretty decent. Some cheese, but not bad at all. I can only assume bad ratings are because of her fringe. I've been bald for 20 years and I've never been more annoyed by someone else's hair.
- gnrrain5天前It's ok. Put simply. Turn off your brain, the movie doesn't take itself seriously which is a huge help. Sharks don't act like this but it's still fun. Masterpiece this isn't, go in knowing this and you might enjoy it.

- old_computer5天前Normally people just go with the "big scary Great White" but here the bull sharks are very well depicted and visually accurate. I was impressed with how silly the movie was that the sharks were fairly sized to scale and aggressive like real Bull sharks. Telling her baby to hold on while she fights a shark was wildly hilarious. The gen Z depressed girl was the worst part of the movie.
