- Burnharm7d agoI know Shin Kamen Rider (2023) has its fans, especially among people who enjoy the original franchise and its exaggerated tokusatsu style, but it really didn’t work for me. The script felt confusing and messy, the acting was weak, and the story never gave me enough reason to care about the characters. At over two hours, it felt painful to sit through, with the only real appeal being its anime-like energy and nostalgic superhero style. I can understand why some viewers enjoy it as a tribute, but as a movie, I found it hard to follow and not very convincing.
