Sharkenstein Ratings & Reviews
- mikkel møllerAugust 16, 2025Fantastic bad movie meant in the best possible way
- Chlerich The HolySeptember 25, 2025Something about Frankenstein's Monsters brain and Hitler's brain and heart and putting it into a shark to make THE super weapon. HOLY COW! How did this not make the big screen? Nazis create an unstoppable hodgepodge Sharkenstein that then disappears for 60 years and turns up in an American lake? or ocean? There is a secret Nazi still trying to control it or work on the shark somewhere and I gotta say the actors Nazi accent gives Tommy Wiseau a run for his money. The Sharkenstein is voice controlled by the mad scientist from his boom mic headset. This is insane! Some of our lead characters are a group of middle aged....I mean young people out for a weekend on the water. Seriously one guys has to be near 50 and he talks wiggity wack and wears his hat sideways! Some great lines from these people though: "Did you hear that? Yeah it sounds like an iron gate closing somewhere", "look at that house! It looks like something out of Sanford and Son", "Germany lost WW2...badly....."I AM AWARE OF THAT" and so much more. I think the guy who plays the "sheriff" has to do Dog the Bounty Hunter cosplay given his look. There is a heavy handed use of the PowerPoint "ripple" transition effect. The Sharkenstein is literally an overlay (puppet?) on top of the stock footage they used for this and it is genuinely some of the worst CGI I have ever seen and I have watched a litany of abysmal movies in my time. They CGI a "house" for Pete's sake. They are going to the beach at the lake, ocean, river? Literally one location will give you a lake scene, then crashing waves on the beach, then you might be on a river? I am certain that they did not have permission to be anywhere that they were "filming". Give me a 4K steelbook of this epic piece of filmmaking please. "Rome wasn't built in a day ya know? Yeah but your coffin will be!"
- Petar VasilevSeptember 9, 2025low budget movie that looks like DIY with a phone. Basic effects that looks like someone made it under Windows 98 and very boring i stupid scenario! 1 hour of my life that is completely wasted and i will never get back!
- hmoaidoSeptember 4, 2025Imagine a 2016 movie about a shark and water with this level of nonsense — honestly, even kids wouldn’t watch it, it’s pure trash 🤦♂️. The director would’ve been better off spending the budget on buying and raising a dog at home. What a disaster!”
