Shanghai Knights Ratings & Reviews
- Zokkiie1d agoThis one feels more like a bonus round than a real sequel. The action is fun and Jackie Chan is great as always, but a lot of the jokes fall kinda flat, the story isn’t doing much, and the villain is pretty forgettable. Owen Wilson is still charming and their banter helps, though some of the side characters feel underused and the pacing drags a bit in the middle. It’s fine for a lazy watch, just nothing special
- Jayson KurikDecember 28, 2025Fun action packed old school Jackie Chan humour. It's exactly what it tries to be nothing less or more.
- christinav61November 19, 2025I love this movie. They’re so funny.
- marc.jac7June 14, 2025Good movie, but since the new app releases the playback froze every 2 minutes for about 10 minutes, then playback was fine for a bit, then boom once again the playback started glitching. it was a re-occurring issue all the way through. Please fix the app because I hate to say this but I want my money back if this keeps up and will not pay a subscription to watch when there are other choices out there that seem to be the better options at this time. Been with plex for a few years and it was a bit buggy but consistently stable, this new app version is so horrible i get errors connecting to a quarter of what i use to be able to watch without getting errors. this is not what I thought I was paying for. It was better when we didn’t have the pay to play, that’s just a fact no being cheap. I don’t mind paying if the service is good, at this point it’s a two thumbs down.
- Eric B.April 28, 2025It was an old-school comedy. My kids didn’t sit through it as they said it was too predictable and not so funny. To me it was all right. If you have nothing better to watch, I’d recommend this.
- James TangApril 23, 2025Better action than Shanghai Noon, but overall not as good of a movie. But definitely worth a watch and still among Jackie's better US efforts.
