Send Help Notations et commentaires
- Mike Shulman5 février 2026Sam Raimi is back with Send Help to remind us all why he is the all time MVP of dark disgusting twisted f@cked up horror. This movie was nearly perfect. Rachel McAdams is amazing as the submissive nerdy "so we think" employee and Dylan O'Brien as well as the douchebag CEO who inherited everything from daddy and never worked a day in his life. Inevitably after not promoting her the two are the only survivors of a work related plane crash and wash up on a small island in the middle of the ocean. From here Linda who spends her spare time reading survivalist books and auditioning for... You guessed it Survivor is now in her element. She's now the boss and goes out of her way to demonstrate this to Bradley... Multiple times showing him why he needs her... But she's also got a more sinister motivation... As does he... One thing is clear... Both Linda and Bradley are flawed people. Welcome to a Sam Raimi movie.... We're not getting clear cut good vs evil characters. And as you can guess in true Raimi fashion the last hour gets really f@cked up... We get some trademark Evil Dead throwback action. Ultra violence, bodily fluids, laugh out loud moments and WTF moments. And you won't know what's what until the very end. The amount of satisfaction you get from the ending might depend on how depraved your mind is. That's why for me it's awesome. Send Help 9/10
- jack27600-18 hGood old fashioned Sam Raimi bloody tense fun.
- Mark Ivey-19 hGreat payback movie. Raimi sure loves the eye stuff and vomit!
- uncleanwar-23 hAbsolutely a heater
- Spawn_Impaler-1 jGREAT, you did know what was going to happen next, funny at times very enjoyable
- tom_wen19 février 2026Overall, very enjoyable though the ending seemed a little rushed and cobbled together at the last-minute.
- Spyder2020-1 jVery good and unexpected
- Kevin Ward5 mars 2026F😍kin loved this. The opening scenes depicting McAdams in corporate office setting might have triggered the fight or flight response in my wife more than the actual horrors on the deserted island did. So much of it rang really true. McAdams was incredible and gets to show off quite a bit of range here. Dylan O’Brien is excellently douche-y with a creepy laugh that will make you want to gag anytime you hear it. Sure, it’s a re-hash of a lot of elements seen before (particularly in that third act of The Triangle of Sadness), but damn, Sam Raimi inject it with sooo much fun that makes this romp wildly satisfying. Blood, gore, and also one jump scare that literally had the entire packed audience screaming at times. (The jump scare legit scared the sh🤩 out of my wife). A tad predictable but still so much fun. Highly recommend.
- Robert22 février 2026I went into the movie theater not knowing what to expect. I didn't know who was supposed to be the villain and who was supposed to be the protagonist. I left the theater very much the same way. It was an interesting ride and i would probably sit down to watch it again. Literally everything you know Sam Raimi for is present in this film.
- N-1 jPhwoaaaarhhhrrr. Great entertainment. Not sure why it's Horror/Thriller though seemed more of a dark comedy. Rachel is phenomenal. Amazing acting from both of them. I laughed a lot. Linda from Accounting ha. Its what you get when you poke the bear.
- mrjbe0-1 jWhat a fantasy! Be you man or woman, you can relate. Over qualified, super intelligent person, taken advantage of their whole life. Only for when the shit hits the fan and the real world kicks in again that it all settles. Fantastic movie.
- eyeofthetornado1 février 2026Send Help is basically Misery if you removed the snow, added relentless sunburn, and replaced “number one fan” energy with “I’m dehydrated and morally deteriorating.” Two people get stranded, pain escalates, power shifts, and suddenly the victim is taking notes like, ohhh, so this is how abusing works. Survival turns into a workshop on control, ethics melt faster than skin, and the jokes land right when you wish they wouldn’t. By the end, you’re not asking “who’s good or bad?” you’re asking “who learned the lesson a little too well?” Dark, crispy, and uncomfortably funny.
- trrs-1 jIt was okay and entertaining to some extent. Worth checking out at least once. The movie least for me went in a predictable way which given although I still saw it I enjoyed it.
- rg9400-1 jSend Help is really fun. Yes, it's fairly predictable and doesn't exactly end up going in crazy directions. However, within those parameters, it knows exactly what it is and juices every little drop of absurdity it can. The real draw is the acting. Both stars do a great job, but Rachel McAdams fully lets loose and is deliciously unhinged. I was also kind of surprised by the score by Danny Elfman. That's not something that usually stands out in movies like this, but I noticed it immediately from the start of the movie. I do think it becomes less of a standout as the movie progresses though. In general, Sam Raini elevates the production throughout. The visuals are sharper and more stylistic than you would expect, with certain CGI scenes having a lot more depth than typical. I really liked the way the montages were presented, seamlessly stitching scenes together. The editing does a fantastic job at framing key items, the various "Chekhov's Guns." In general, it's a really well made movie that maximizes what it can mine from this setup. I do think the pacing can get a bit slow at times, and the ending then becomes very sudden instead of feeling like a proper buildup and release. I also just think this movie was a bit too safe, and although it can get violent and gory, it never goes fully off the rails like I was hoping for. Regardless, it's an entertaining time where Sam Raini is constantly metaphorically and quite literally winking at the camera.
- cultfilmliker2 février 2026Sam R-rated Raimi is back!! Lovely acting, wonderful directing! So funny to cast Rachel McAdams as anti-Regina George and still use two of the biggest songs from Mean Girls in this film too! I abhorred that “noxious odors” line in the trailer but it wasn’t as bad as it seemed, thank god. Watched at Warren Regal 21 with Moore
