- hairydemonJuly 4, 2025there seems to be a trend in irish sea monster cinema to make the lead character as unappealing as possible (Grabbers, I am looking at you!). Someone really annoying who 'goes on a journey to discover themselves'. ffs can you irish writers please stop with basing all your stories around irritating individuals, and have someone at least a bit funny or appealing in some form or other. How about a fun monster film? Haven't any of you watched American Werewolf in London recently? obviously not.
