On the way to the airport, bad news thwarts her plans: her mother is in a coma under mysterious circumstances - and she needs her there. While the suitcase is already on its way to Tokyo, Marie, with a heavy heart, boards the Rhine skipper Hans' ferry to Rüdesheim, where tourists from all over the world are celebrating the Wine Week. There, Marie remains stuck at the bill of a sociable round with a Japanese businessman. In order to get her money back, the deceived woman wants to track down the shady Mr. Tanaka. Fortunately, she meets the waitress Krystina. The Ukrainian not only takes Marie in, but gives her an idea that makes a "Sayonara" even more remote.
