Frankly I'm amazed Stewart agreed to do this dodgy made for TV B-movie, but it isn't awful. It's just... not great either. Consequently, it doesn't get the best out of him, this isn't his best performance and some of the other acting is very average too - though Kimberley Williams-Paisley isn't bad actually. On the other hand, you do feel his character's plight and warm up to him so the ending does have some emotional impact. And the concept of the dead man's switch is unusually sound technobabble for a movie like this.
