A brutal art house movie that never lets up in pace or tension. The performance from Voight and Roberts are both top notch, but I think this is perhaps one of Voight's best ever, chilling literally and figuratively. If you like the 1977 film Sorcerer, you will love this & visa versa.
- JohnJune 19, 2025Some of the worst screen writing and acting I’ve ever experienced in a big budget star filled film. The only explanation for this mess of a movie is that it must have been produced by the New York mob and they let some uneducated street thug write the script and then forced all these accomplished actors to deliver over the top performances at gun point. It made me feel like I was watching a movie about a group of people with special needs going on a big adventure. The only redeeming quality of this film is the action cinematography and scenery was pretty beautiful. The mob must have forced people to give this complete stinker of a film good ratings too because I can’t explain how anyone would find this to be a good movie.
