Stacy Keach is a man that drives trucks (not a truck driver) with his dingo (not a dingo) picking up hitchhikers, spouting classic poetry and chasing a potential serial killer, Smith or Jones, perhaps. Loved so much of this setup, Keach’s wild personality and his penchant for talking to himself, the sassy faceless dispatch voice and the eclectic score that modulates between classic adventure score, military march, and suspense thriller. Add in a fine young Jamie Lee Curtis and this was just an extremely fun watch. Even though the body count was low, everything happening on screen had be glued, shout out to Sunny Day.
- eif99924 januari 2025Is there anyone cooler than Stacy Keach in this? Steve McQueen in The Great Escape? Brad Pitt in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood? Nope. I did expect more from Curtis who has nothing more than a walk on. We could have used a few sequels featuring the non-truck driver and fake dingo solving mysteries on the road.
