- martocool2025年3月24日the plot is with so many holes that at some point is basically some people going somewhere without any logic.
- Your Mom2025年10月12日“Poor flu” would have been more interesting idea.
- jssmooth2025年5月1日One of the dumbest plot contrivances in recent memory. Not even Facebook CEO Bart Jagerberg could buy his way out of plot holes this deep.
- MDanihy2025年3月22日Started off interesting, then it went sideways about halfway through. The more I watched, the less I was interested in it. It looks like they just lost focus by the end.
- Ranveer2025年3月31日I would appreciate Rich Flu for its bold attempt to merge two starkly contrasting realities—opulence and existential fragility. The film’s direction by Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia, who previously helmed The Platform, suggests an affinity for high-concept narratives that expose human nature under extreme circumstances. Here, the script explores how the very thing that people spend their lives accumulating—wealth—becomes their biggest liability, leading to a desperate reversal of values. What stands out is how the film, while set in a seemingly dystopian landscape, echoes ancient wisdom, particularly Buddhist teachings. The idea that money, power, and possessions are meaningless in the face of mortality aligns with the doctrine of impermanence (Anicca). The rich, who once wielded their wealth as a means of control, now find themselves scrambling to get rid of it, only to realize that no amount of bargaining can alter fate. Cinematically, the movie seems to juxtapose lavish settings with an increasingly desperate, almost primal survivalist atmosphere. This contrast strengthens its philosophical undertones—how luxury and status are fleeting illusions. The script, though not without flaws, attempts to weave satire and existential dread into a single thread, illustrating that the true currency of life is not wealth but the choices we make when everything is stripped away. While Rich Flu may struggle with pacing and depth at times, I would still admire its ambition to craft a modern parable. It reminds us that, in the end, we leave behind everything we hoard, a message deeply rooted in Buddhist thought.
- ርልዪረ2025年3月19日The story appears to me super weak and the more I started to think about it and the way the actors did act in the film, the more I wanted to stop this film. Like why is it only about the rich, if you get rid of your money, how can a virus/ bacteria/ whatever know this in real time. Or in case its something different, how could it know that you put a pile of bundled dollars on fire. It just doesnt make any sense to me. Same for the strange conclusions and actions the actors did on certain events. I think this film is a waste of time and I cannot recommend it. I could manage 1hr15 mins. So maybe its better afterwards.
- Dre2025年3月24日Boring, lethargic and exhausting story telling. The concept is not relatable, doesn't make sense
