This is the unofficial prequel to "Gone Girl" here is the unofficial backstory of what turned Miranda into Amy before she met Nick!! On a serious note now this movie is more poor than my terrible joke and that right there should telly how bad this movie as a whole rsally is. This 💯 has to be one of the worst & most disappointing thrillers of the 2010's and is easily one of if not the very worst movie in Rosamund Pike's whole filmography. The whole build up promised us a very eventful finale!! And tbh I was really intrigued with where it was all heading and how it was all going to playout. As much as I found the movie slow I had a lot of hope that it was going to be all worth it and give us a very good payoff but not only did it not deliver what the so called build up was conveying to us. It really dropped the ball and bottled that entire 3rd act. Nothing hardly happens and how it was all done & executed made it even worse! We don't even know if she killed him, let him go or just kept him there. What a very weird, unclear, lame, lazy, disappointing, uneventful, boring & a very unfocused ending and 3rd act to a movie ever!! The fact that one of my favourite actresses Rosamund Pike starred in one of the best psychological thrillers a year prior; just leaves you in total & utter disbelief that she would star in a thriller this bad & disappointing only a year later after Gone Girl 🤔🤔🤔 And Finally My Ratings & Scores for "Return To Sender" is 01 & a Half Stars 🌟 & a 02/10
