66,127 unaccompanied kids from Central America entered the U.S in 2014. 80% more than last year. They were in flight from unprecedented violence, mostly from drugs cartels using them as foot soldier. There are more in New York than in any other state save Texas, many awaiting court rulings that could send them back home.
