While it doesn’t pontificate on any deep themes- it does make for an immensely entertaining movie with its dime story twists and turns. I discovered Red Rock West digging through Laura Flynn Boyle’s wider filmography and was pleasantly surprised to find the main cast populated by other Lynch alum. While the script is mostly flatly regurgitated- Dennis Hopper and Nick Cage have tons of opportunities throughout for some amped up delivery.
