Raw Ratings & Reviews
- skotjayNovember 28, 2025On this Thanksgiving day, I thought it best to watch a film about eating, and family.

- VarunOctober 19, 2024It starts off with a bang but eventually meanders around aimlessly. The beginning hazing scene gets your adrenaline pumping and is also quite anxiety inducing. The griminess of the cinematography and the vet school culture keeps rising, with some incredibly gross scenes that even made my desensitised brain go EWWW. Also the strange weirdness of people’s relationships and actions, which is common in these absurd French films, is a bit comedic at first. But the pacing just gets slow and boring, the behaviours of the surrounding students are completely unrealistic and the main characters behave in dull ways that don’t make you feel any connection to them. I don’t think this movie had much to say metaphorically either, not that I needed it to but if it was just meant to be a gross movie that entertains, I did not find any fun, crazy or unique scenes to remark about towards the second half of the film. An empty film that relies purely on shock value ain’t for me but at least it was better than Saltburn.
