After a group of friends graduate from Delhi University, they listlessly haunt their old campus, until a British filmmaker casts them in a film she's making about freedom fighters under British rule. Although the group is largely apolitical, the tragic death of a friend owing to local government corruption awakens their patriotism. Inspired by the freedom fighters they represent in the film, the friends collectively decide to avenge the killing.

The Good The film's most powerful element is its masterful screenplay, which seamlessly interweaves two parallel narratives, one set during India's freedom struggle and the other in the contemporary day. This is a story that breathes through its characters, with an ensemble cast, led by Aamir Khan, that is nothing short of phenomenal. A.R. Rahman’s music is not just a soundtrack but the soul of the film, capturing the rebellious and emotional energy of the story. The film's themes of friendship, unity, and taking responsibility for change are timeless and executed with genuine passion. The Bad At times, the film's pacing can feel slightly disjointed due to the constant back-and-forth between the two timelines.
