- Fire Lansky6d agoTake a shot of your favorite liquor every time someone says “progressive,” or “inclusive,” or any other similar buzzword. You’ll be wasted halfway through the film, which is good, as it will make all of the tired cliches they throw at you that much more palatable. I saw this in 2016. I saw it again in 2026. It’s been a wild 10 years and this hasn’t aged well at all.
- COCOMarch 22, 2025Follows beat by beat every cliché there is about this type of period biopics to the point sometimes I was this close of rolling my eyes. Jason Sudeikis is a stand out and Stephan James gives an incredible performance. Unfortunately the story gets really dull towards the end and you’re just waiting for the obvious to happen.
