For characters, there was an enjoyable duality between Grace and Rocky; however, Stratt and the rest of the scientists/astronauts offset this as quite insufferable. Directing/editing was fast but creative, and visuals and audio were top notch in many sequences, especially the mission to planet Adrian.

The visuals, the music, the acting, and the story - all of them were coherent and fit together really well; I really loved that they explained things in a way that's good both for the general public and fun for people who know about the science or are in the scientific community. - Sheila Rose21. marts 2026I did not read the book, so I can’t share in the excitement of this being a well-adapted film. But I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed this. It was hilarious, heartwarming, and visually stunning. I can’t recall the last film I watched starring Gosling, but his performance reminded me what a truly gifted actor he is. His depth and versatility make watching him easy and fun. I honestly didn’t want it to end. I almost wish this could have been a limited series, just to stay in this world a little longer. Can’t wait to add this to my DVD collection — it’s worth it.
