Predator: Killer of Killers Ratings & Reviews
- Kristian Odland23h agoCheck out my video HERE Predator fans are eating well! Danny Trachtenberg serves up a full-course, multi-era feast that Predator fans have hungered for. This anthology-style format is perfect for this franchise, as we get to see Predators hunt Earth's most dangerous killers through three different time periods. Each chapter shows how different cultures and combat styles stack up against these interplanetary hunters. I am always skeptical of major franchises that expand into animation to world build and expand lore. It doesn't always work and can, in some cases, make the IP feel diluted and cheap. But I am thrilled to admit that this effort works really well. The animation style and character design really lend themselves to the brutal violence and gritty action the franchise is so well known for. I would love to see more Predator stories done this way. But I have to admit, one of my favorite things about the Predator franchise is how little we actually know about this race of aliens. I feel like knowing very little about the predators has always made them more mysterious, far more interesting, and scary as hell. In a lot of ways, keeping them shrouded in mystery has been their greatest strength. That's why I'm not exactly the biggest fan of learning too much about the predators, like their language, home planet, culture, etc. It kinda kills the vibe. And although I LOVED the first three chapters of this movie on their own, I did struggle a little bit with the final act. I don't think connecting all three stories together worked very well. It felt kinda forced. But, there is no denying this movie is so much fun, and it delivers exactly what a Predator fan could hope for: inventive kills, tense showdowns, and a showcase of why these hunters are so iconic. Final Verdict: Predator: Killer of Killers is a bloody, stylish, and ambitious entry that proves there’s still plenty of life—and terror—in this franchise. Even with a slightly shaky finale, it’s a wild ride that respects the mythos while daring to try something new. If you’re a fan, this is a hunt you won’t want to miss.
- ZokkiieJune 6, 2025WHAT A SUPRISE!!! It is a fun and exciting new take on the series. The animated anthology style keeps it fresh, with each story bringing its own cool spin on the Predator mythos. It’s creative, action-packed, and has a great atmosphere. It really respects the old movies while trying something new. A great watch for fans and a nice way to keep building on.
- nickp378June 9, 2025Amazing!!! Make this a regular thing please! Predator v Gladiators, Predator v Nazis, Predator v Spartans
- Dan Heath5d agoanimation style is ...interesting but at odds with its low frame rate. Unfortunately my enjoyment was quickly curtailed by the perversion of history and poor story telling the 'member berries' are particularly annoying sullying the work of those better predator movies. Terrrible.
- James Tang5d agoAn extremely lean action movie with beautiful set pieces, glorious violence, and just enough plot to keep things interesting. Hope this was successful enough to bring a sequel!
- neuroparadox7d agoPretty good! Nothing really innovative story-wise but the animation is great, and there are some nice kills and moments. My one minor gripe is with the purposefully low frame-rate, which, while this can add style and distinction if done right (see: Into the Spider-Verse or The Last Wish), I feel that, in this case, it is a little much without some sort of respite for around 80 minutes of screentime. I dunno, I found it notably visually distracting, but your mileage will vary. Can't help but wonder what it would have looked like at a true 24fps. Having the three vignettes be different animation styles and come together in the throughline (within a fourth style) might have been a more interesting choice.
- ShaveAssJuly 23, 2025We’ve come a long way from Dutch vs Predator in the jungle and I’m all here for it. You will be too after watching this story rich, lore building, addition to the series.
- Karin e BorisJuly 20, 2025Fun, if a bit stereotypical at times. Overall enjoyable. The references from the Predator universe are pleasant (starting with the theme from the soundtrack).
- another92June 14, 2025Predator: Killer of Killers is just incredible. Where did this come from? Never even heard of it and it just blew me away. Best animation since Into The Spider-Verse, better maybe. Awesome take on the Predator franchise. I can't say enough.
- PsynisterJune 7, 2025Was a great evening movie to get your blood pumping while you turn your brain off for a bit. The characters were well developed in the short amount of time they had on screen and they blended the action in well while keeping mostly with the lore. While you have to suspend some disbelief for much of the action sequences, I don’t feel that it takes away from the over enjoyment of the movie as a whole. I really hope they make a sequel to this one!
- Devon GeathersJuly 17, 2025This has a ton of action and expands on the Predator universe. I can’t wait till the next chapter comes out.
- Clay AdekoyaJune 18, 2025Fun watch, the story of the bullet required some suspension of belief even for an animated movie. But overall it was a great movie.
- CookiefistJuly 14, 2025The animation is neat. The short stories stink. Cant be watching anything nowadays without writers telling us woman can do everything a man can do and do it better when it comes to strength or combat. Viking woman destroys all the viking men with 2 shields and then kills the predator while all her men warriors died easily. Cringe.
- bigwoJune 6, 2025Movie was absolutely insane and what the fans wanted after Prey so great job by the team can’t wait for more.
- AirLxs FlorezJuly 12, 2025Great movie. A must-watch for those who love the Predator movies.
