Predator Ratings & Reviews
- Kristian Odland4d agoBehold, if there was one action movie that ever came close to perfection, this is it. If you don't think so, YOU'RE WRONG!!
- sailorje6July 23, 2025Great movie
- RonFlix316July 15, 2025Pure pop culture gold 🏆 Unforgettable, and undeniably the best of the series.
- RyezooFebruary 14, 2025It’s been a really long time since I’ve last seen this. A little dated but still fun. The predator when invisible does look really bad nowadays. The gunfire and tension is great though. I love the final act to this movie as well.
- MischaMay 17, 2025The 35mm version of predator is really my favorite it's all dark and grimey, and the sound is all loud... the music really pops out. The cornered edges make it even better. I have a bluray copy, and it just seems way too processed. I feel lucky to be able to watch this copy.
- ColeJune 11, 2025Absolutely love how this starts as an 80s action war flick then transitions into a horrifying creature feature. The Predator is one of the all time monster designs. I especially like how we don’t see its body or face until the final act. As far as the location, the jungle is an all timer too — along with the Antarctic in The Thing and space for Alien. As an Arnold stan too, he’s just wonderfully charismatic here. Cozy film for me, a true classic in every sense of the word.
- mickerdooJuly 8, 2025Interesting adversary that required creative problem solving. Made the hunt unpredictable. Cool main cast.
- Aaron SladeMarch 29, 2025Its testosterone the film lol Big macho guys showing their big muscles and even bigger cigars Until they start getting eviscerated from the camouflaged alien. Oh man, this scared the shit out of me in 1987 when I saw it at the cinema at age 10. It was so close to a horror, while still remaining an action film. Arnie was on fire in the 80s and could do no wrong. This was the same year The Running Man came out, which is just as good as this. Amazing !!!
- Kevin WardJuly 7, 2025Watched this with my oldest son. Love this movie. Iconic in so many ways. One of the best creature designs ever put to film. Incredibly quotable one liners. Magnificent score from Alan Silvestri. The roided out cast (including two former governors). It’s essentially a perfect action movie. My son Jackson really enjoyed and he had fun pointing out several things referenced by Strangers Things. R.I.P. Jim Hopper. Endlessly rewatchable film.
- Gene CapmanMarch 12, 2025Watch this again. Do it, do it now!
- The Gutter MonkeyFebruary 3, 2025A cool survival sci-fi story in dumb '80s action movie clothing. It shouldn't work as well as it does. But it does.
- vengecoreApril 9, 2025Geopolitical intrigue meets the Most Dangerous game, there is only one Predator.
- Lord_TulkasJune 23, 2025The OG Predator... testosterone made movie... a prime example of the monster movie genre: brutal, bloody, savage, an ugly deadly monster, a bunch of muscle machine dudes, explosions, and a LOT of bullets... seriously, what are you waiting to watch it???
- .LAGJune 15, 2025A nearly perfect action (and monster) mooophie!
- Kraine OpasenJune 20, 2025“If it bleeds, we can kill it.” A genre-defining mix of action, sci-fi, and horror, Predator drops you deep into the steamy Central American jungle — and never lets you out. What starts as a classic ‘80s special ops shoot-‘em-up quickly twists into a tense survival thriller, where the hunters become the hunted. Arnold Schwarzenegger delivers one of his most iconic performances as Dutch, a battle-hardened leader forced to rely not on guns, but wits, strength, and primal instinct. The alien hunter, cloaked and calculating, is a creature of pure menace — a villain as unforgettable as the Xenomorph. Director John McTiernan crafts a film dripping with atmosphere, testosterone, and dread. Every shot pulses with intensity, every line is quotable, and every death raises the stakes. Predator is raw, relentless, and as sharp as its namesake. A true titan of ‘80s cinema — and it still bleeds excellence.
