Swapna loses her parents in her younger age and gets affected psychologically by Necrophobia (fear of death). She grows in her Uncle Ramakrishna's house. Ramakrishna has a daughter Abhinaya, who is interested in Bharatanatyam dance. Ramakrishna and his wife Lakshmi encourage Abhinaya for Classical Dance and Swapna for Music. Also, Swapna gets treatment from a Music therapist Akshay for her necrophobic problem. Both Swapna and Abhinaya get into love with Akshay, but Akshay does not care for that. When Ramakrishna with his family meet Akshay for proposing Swapna, Akshay strongly refuses and says that he is already married and has a daughter. He explains his flashback and tells that his wife had betrayed him and taken his daughter along with her. Abhinaya plans to unite Akshay with his daughter and finally achieves it. Not able to bear this, Swapna commits suicide and Abhinaya dedicates her life completely for Dance.
