- Sophia AtkinsonMarch 4, 2025Its a bit long and drawn out, but it has John Candy in it, makes it a great movie by default.
- witty youngmanJune 28, 2025For it being a classic chaotic comedy, I’d never seen it before and knew I needed to see it once. There were some goofy laughs and the ending was not what I was expecting, but a couple of times during the movie I did check how much longer it would be. Super goofy, I feel like I now can differentiate between a couple of John Candy movies, but I have not seen many. I know this was a big one, especially being opposite Steve Martin.
- Pavan MaiyaOctober 30, 2025Extremely funny and light hearted. I enjoyed the sense of humour the movie depicted and absolutely cherished its writing. I’d recommend this to anyone and everyone who craves humour.
- johnnymolnarSeptember 10, 2025Absolute classic piece of 80's cinema
- vf2k14July 24, 2025The movie feels incomplete due to several cuts and missing scenes – like why Del has a black eye or why Neil’s wife is crying at the end. Still, it's not a bad film. Seeing John Candy and Steve Martin together is a real treat, and I laughed a lot. Just wished some scenes made more sense.
- mickerdooJuly 12, 2025Hughes has a gift. Hilarious road trip movie with a nagging Candy and irritated Martin. Then he flips it on its ear and it's heartfelt.
- George BananzaJuly 2, 2025And busses, and walking.
